Drug and Alcohol Review Journal

This program is designed to support the Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol and other Drugs (APSAD) in publishing the official journal of the society. Key details include:

Objectives:

• Support the three pillars of Australia’s National Drug Strategy 2017-2026: demand reduction, supply reduction, and harm reduction.
• Build and increase access to the alcohol and other drug (AOD) evidence base.
• Promote evidence-informed practice and innovation in the AOD field.
• Facilitate online publication of multidisciplinary original scientific research in AOD both nationally and internationally.

Target Beneficiaries:

• Clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and drug and alcohol service administrators.
• The Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol and other Drugs (APSAD) as the recipient and publisher.

Eligibility:

• Only APSAD is eligible, having been invited to apply based on their capability, infrastructure, and experience.
• APSAD has managed the DAR Journal since 1982 and has a long-standing relationship with the Department of Health.

Application Process:

• APSAD submits a completed application form and necessary attachments via the GrantConnect portal.
• Applications must be submitted by the specified closing date and time.
• Confirmation of submission is sent via automated email; technical support is available through GrantConnect Helpdesk.
