Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program - Phase 4

Objective:

• Provide temporary, targeted support to create and maintain local jobs through road infrastructure and construction activities.
• Deliver community benefits such as improved road safety, accessibility, and visual amenity.

Target Beneficiaries:

• Eligible Funding Recipients are local government entities consistent with previous phases (Phase 1, 2, and 3).
• The program supports communities across all Australian states and territories including ACT, NSW, VIC, SA, WA, QLD, NT, TAS, and Administered Territories.

Funding Details:

• Total funding available: AUD 750 million.
• Individual grant values range from approximately AUD 15,698 to AUD 11,783,890.
• Funding is for priority local road and community infrastructure projects.

Application Process:

• This phase is not open for public applications.
• Eligible recipients receive a letter of offer and must return a signed Grant Agreement to participate.
• Construction can only begin after an executed Grant Agreement and Approved Work Schedule are in place.
