  • Category A: Projects concerning Japan in arts, culture, and Japanese studies. This category supports international cultural exchange and initiatives to enhance Japanese studies in Thailand. The grant covers up to 50,000 THB of project costs.
  • Category B: Projects promoting two-way intellectual and cultural exchange. This category targets cultural professionals in arts and academia within the Asian community to foster collaboration and dialogue. The grant covers up to 100,000 THB of project costs.

Target beneficiaries include cultural professionals, academics, and organizations involved in arts, culture, and Japanese studies who aim to promote cultural exchange and intellectual collaboration related to Japan.

Application Process:

  • Applications are accepted four times a year with deadlines on February 10, May 10, August 10, and November 10.
  • Projects must start after the respective deadline period (e.g., projects starting from April 15 onwards for the February deadline).
  • Applicants must submit a proposal via email to smallgrant-JFBKK@jpf.go.jp.
  • Required documents include a proposal form, application form, and budget sheet, all available for download on the official website.
  • After submission, the foundation contacts applicants for further details.
