Objective:
- MDG is a reimbursable grant introduced in 2002 to assist Malaysian exporters in promoting Malaysian-made products and services globally.
- It aims to support export activities and enhance Malaysia's presence in international markets.
Target Beneficiaries:
- Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
- Professional Service Providers (sole proprietors or partnerships)
- Trade and Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Professional Bodies
- Co-operatives
- The grant has a lifetime limit of RM300,000 per beneficiary.
Eligible Activities for Funding:
- Physical Events:
- Participation in international trade fairs or exhibitions (local and overseas)
- Participation in Trade & Investment Missions (TIM) or Export Acceleration Missions (EAM)
- Participation in international conferences held overseas
- Listing fees for Malaysian products in overseas supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail centers, or boutique outlets
- Virtual Events:
- Participation in virtual international trade fairs (local or overseas)
- Participation in B2B meetings related to virtual trade investment missions and export acceleration missions
Application Process:
- Applications and claims must be submitted online via MATRADE’s website or through the MADANI Digital Trade Platform (madanitrade.com).
- Applicants must register or log in to the MADANI platform to apply.
- Submission deadlines for claims are within 30 calendar days after the event or activity date.
- Reimbursements are subject to government fund availability.
