The IRAS Digital Integration Incentive (DII) is a funding program by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) aimed at encouraging software developers to accelerate the integration of IRAS APIs for Corporate Income Tax Returns (Form C-S), GST Returns (GST F5, F8), and e-invoicing capabilities. This initiative supports the attainment of IRAS ASR+ Tier 3 status for software solutions.
Objectives:
- To incentivize software developers to integrate IRAS digital products and APIs.
- To promote seamless digital tax filing and e-invoicing through integrated software solutions.
- To enhance digital collaboration between IRAS and software developers.
Target Beneficiaries:
- Software developers who are Singapore ACRA-registered entities.
- Developers who have made integration efforts for IRAS digital products.
- Resellers without integration efforts are not eligible.
Key Features:
- Total funding quantum of SGD 50,000, split into two tranches of SGD 25,000 each.
- Tranche 1 is awarded upon fulfilling IRAS ASR+ Tier 3 criteria, including full integration of IRAS digital products.
- Tranche 2 requires proof of scaled-up business usage: at least 100 successful submissions and written feedback from 5 satisfied customers.
- Grantees must maintain the solution and remain listed on IRAS ASR+ for at least 2 years from Tranche 1 acceptance.
- Only 12 DII slots are available, awarded on a first-to-meet-conditions basis.
- Application cut-off dates: Tranche 1 by 30 June 2024 or when slots are filled; Tranche 2 by 31 December 2025.
- During rebranding of the ASR+ framework, new DII applications are on hold.
Application Process:
- For Tranche 1: Submit the DII Application Form to IRAS; outcome notified within 2-3 weeks; submit required documents within 2 weeks; receive funding within 2 weeks.
- For Tranche 2: Submit Disbursement Request Form; outcome notified within 2-3 weeks; submit documents within 2 weeks; receive funding within 2 weeks.
Additional Notes:
- Customer satisfaction surveys approved by IMDA for the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) can be used as proof for Tranche 2.
- Multiple DII applications are allowed if each software meets eligibility criteria.
