The Startup SG Founder program is a funding initiative by Enterprise Singapore aimed at supporting first-time entrepreneurs in Singapore to start and grow their businesses.

Objectives:

• To nurture and support first-time entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas.
• To provide mentorship and funding to help startups establish a strong foundation.
• To encourage entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in Singapore’s startup ecosystem.

Target Beneficiaries:

• First-time entrepreneurs who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
• Startups in the early stages of development with innovative and scalable business ideas.
• Entrepreneurs who have not previously received Startup SG Founder funding.

Application Process:

• Applicants must submit a detailed business plan outlining their business idea, market potential, and growth strategy.
• Entrepreneurs need to apply through the official Startup SG portal.
• Shortlisted applicants will be matched with a mentor from a pre-approved mentor network.
• Upon successful mentorship and business plan evaluation, funding support is granted.

• Offers a startup capital grant of up to SGD 50,000, which is co-matched by the entrepreneur.
