- Funding range: £100,001 to £500,000 for up to five years.
- Can fund new or existing projects, including capital costs like land, buildings, vehicles, or refurbishments.
- Emphasis on equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion, with a focus on underrepresented groups.
- Projects must consider environmental impact and promote bilingual delivery in English and Welsh.
- Support for overheads, staff, training, equipment, transport, volunteer expenses, and one-off events.
- Excludes funding for retrospective costs, alcohol, loans, fundraising activities, religious content, statutory activities, overseas travel, and profit-making activities.
Application Process:
- Initial informal chat with a funding officer is mandatory before applying.
- Eligible applicants submit a short idea form, followed by a detailed application if invited.
- Applicants must provide organizational details, financial accounts, and comply with safeguarding policies if working with vulnerable groups.
- Additional documentation required for capital projects (e.g., vehicle quotes, land/building ownership or lease agreements).
- The decision process takes about 40 weeks from initial contact to funding outcome.
- Successful applicants receive contract details and payment schedules before project start.
