Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme

Objectives:

• Develop capacity of arts practitioners, arts groups, art forms, and the overall arts sector.
• Support programme and content development.
• Promote audience building.
• Enhance arts education.

Target Beneficiaries:

• Arts practitioners and groups across various disciplines including performing arts, visual arts, media arts, multi-disciplinary arts, community arts, and arts education/appreciation/promotion.

Key Features:

• Provides funding for large-scale and cross-year arts and cultural initiatives.
• Covers a wide range of art categories and practices.
• Aims to cultivate a supportive culture for the arts within the community.
• Encourages a tripartite partnership among the Government, arts groups, and the private sector to promote arts and cultural development in Hong Kong.
