Cyberport Accelerator Support Programme

This programme in Hong Kong is designed to empower Cyberport incubates and alumni by supporting their participation in accelerator programmes locally, in Mainland China, and overseas to accelerate start-up growth.

Objectives:

• Facilitate start-ups' growth through ideation, incubation, acceleration, and market success.
• Provide financial support to help start-ups join accelerator programmes and expand their market reach.

Target Beneficiaries:

• Cyberport incubates and alumni.
• Start-ups admitted to accelerator programmes endorsed by Cyberport.

Key Features:

• Financial assistance of up to HK$300,000 per recipient.
• Funding can be used for accelerator programme fees, office rental, interns, travel, marketing expenses, and professional services.
• No equity is taken by Cyberport.
• Support for multiple accelerator programmes is allowed, with funding capped at HK$300,000 per recipient.
• Endorsed accelerator programmes include a wide range of global and regional accelerators such as 500 Startups, Techstars, Y Combinator, and many others.
• A special joint accelerator with China Resources Research Institute offers up to HK$1.8 million support for R&D commercialization and market expansion for eligible Hong Kong-registered Cyberport community members in targeted tech sectors.

Application Process:

• Applicants must be Cyberport incubates or alumni admitted to an endorsed accelerator programme.
• Submit a completed CASP application form along with proof of admission to the accelerator programme via email to casp@cyberport.hk.
• Applications are accepted year-round but must be submitted before the accelerator programme starts.
• Review process takes about 2 months.
• Results are notified by email.
