Objectives:

• To provide financial assistance and technical support to farmers and fishers adversely affected by natural disasters.
• To relieve financial distress caused by events such as rainstorms and typhoons.

Target Beneficiaries:

• Local farmers and fishers in Hong Kong who have suffered losses or damage due to natural disasters.
• Those eligible for primary producer grants under the fund.

Application Process:

• Applications are submitted online or via downloadable forms.
• Applicants must provide all necessary information and supporting documents.
• A confirmation email with an application reference number is issued upon successful submission.
• An Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) officer will acknowledge receipt within 3 working days.
• Applicants are advised to contact AFCD at 2476 2424 if no confirmation is received within 3 working days or for enquiries.
• Late applications may not be processed.
• The processing time is normally within 30 working days after receipt of a complete application.
