HKSTP Incubation Programme

HKSTP Incubation Programme is a comprehensive 3-year support initiative designed to help technology startups in Hong Kong develop their first solutions, from early-stage technical builds to market exploration and business development.

Objectives:

• Assist startups in transforming innovative ideas into viable business models.
• Provide all-round support including funding, R&D, mentorship, and investor connections.
• Help startups overcome challenges in product development and market entry.

Target Beneficiaries:

• Technology startups with disruptive applications, innovative business models, or life-changing products.
• Startups with market-validated MVPs or prototypes.
• Companies engaged in R&D in ICT, electronics, green technology, or precision engineering.
• Both local and overseas startups (overseas must register a Hong Kong business).

Key Features:

• Up to HKD 1.29 million funding to cover technology and business development expenses.
• Access to world-class equipment, software, and lab facilities with support from engineers and industry partners like Fujitsu, ASTRI, and Rohde & Schwarz.
• Dedicated account manager for personalized guidance.
• Mentorship from experienced industry experts and networking opportunities with strategic partners and investors.
• Business support including team building, training, professional services, and market exposure through trade missions, exhibitions, and media.
• On-site program with rental subsidies for workspace at HKSTP premises.

Application Process:

1. Submit online application anytime (no fixed deadline).
2. Due diligence meeting.
3. Assessment panel meeting.
4. Result announcement.

Applicants can reapply after three months if initially rejected. The program encourages startups to engage actively in the HKSTP ecosystem for team building and growth.
